Dogs are dropped off on Monday mornings between 7am to 10am, and they remain with us for the week. Pickup is on Friday afternoons from 4pm to 7pm. We have a 30 minute lesson each Friday at pickup time to review what your dog has learned during the week. You will have homework to practice during the weekends before your dog returns to us on Monday.

Our Modified Board and Train program is currently only one of two in Arizona that does not use punishment based, inhumane methods or aversive tools like e-collars, prongs or choke chains, which have been shown to not only cause physical damage but also to cause emotional damage and escalate aggressive behavior.

We use force free, humane, positive reinforcement training methods for our Happy K9 Board and Train program that involves daily one-on-one training. We will determine what your dog finds reinforcing, whether that be their food, soft or crunchy treats, toys, praise, affection or real-life rewards (such as sniffing or going outside).

Dogs who enter into our Board and Train program must be comfortable being in a crate and potty trained. They will be in their crate during mealtimes, overnight sleeping hours and if the trainer needs to leave for a lesson/errand and no one is home. This is done for the dog's safety.

This program is typically not suitable for dogs with separation anxiety or severe aggression cases. All dogs must show veterinarian proof of current vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella) or a current titer test as well as flea/tick prevention. We ask that you provide enough food to last your dog during it's stay to minimize upset stomach.

We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot in the program. The remainder of the fee must be paid 48 hours prior to the commencement of training. You will receive an invoice for your dog's Board & Train program; we accept payments via Square, Venmo and Cash. All Board & Train programs (minus the deposit) are refundable up to 10 days prior to your Board and Train. We do offer payment plans, but balance must be paid off *prior* to starting the Board & Train.

• 10 Days (2 weeks M-F) of one-on-one force free training

• One 30 minute private lesson each Friday at pick up

• One 1 hour follow up private lesson in your home within 2 weeks after program ends 

• Includes a training pack (treat pouch, clicker, bag of treats)

• Email, virtual and text support for 3 months

15 Days Board and Train Program - $2100

• Dogs 5 months old and up are eligible

• 45 Minute virtual consultation

• 15 Days (3 weeks M-F) of one-on-one force free training

• One 30 minute private lesson each Friday at pick up

• One 1 hour follow up private lesson in your home within 2 weeks after program ends

• One 60 minute virtual lesson within 4 weeks after program ends

• Includes a training pack (treat pouch, clicker, bag of treats)

• Email, virtual and text support for 3 months
