Perhaps our Happy Campers Board and Train Program would be a good fit for you and your puppy. 

​

We use force free, humane, positive reinforcement training methods for our Happy Campers Board and Train Program that involves daily one-on-one training in our home located in Scottsdale.

​

We will determine what your puppy finds reinforcing, whether that be their food, soft or crunchy treats, toys, praise, affection or real-life rewards (such as sniffing or going outside).

​

We do not use punishment based methods, or aversive tools like e-collars, prongs or choke chains.

​

All puppies must show veterinarian proof of:

• Current vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella) or a current titer test

• Flea and Tick Prevention

• Negative Fecal test (within 2 weeks) 

*Please note fecal tests need to test specifically for O&P along with Giardia. We will not accept any sort of fecal test that does not specifically test for Giardia. Passive fecal tests such as floats, in theory, can find Giardia, but in reality, do not.

We ask that you provide enough food to last your puppy during their stay to minimize upset stomach.

​

We require a $500 non-refundable booking fee to hold your spot in the Happy Campers Board and Train Program. The remainder of the Program cost must be paid 48 hours prior to your puppy being picked up for training.

All Happy Campers B&T Programs (minus the booking fee) are refundable up to 7 days prior to the start of your Program. We do offer payment plans, but balance must be paid off *prior* to starting the Happy Campers B&T Program.

​2 Week Happy Campers Board and Train Program Investment - $1,500​

• 10 Days (M-F for two consecutive weeks) of one-on-one training, puppy goes home Friday for the weekend, returns Monday to Trainer

• Includes pick up & drop off at your home

• Dogs 10 weeks to 6 months old are eligible

• 60 Minute virtual consultation to discuss goals

• Includes introducing the following: name recognition, recall/come, touch/target, sit, down, wait, release cue, eye contact, leash manners, place, leave it, door manners, polite greetings, sound desensitization, body handling, crate training and potty training

• Age appropriate field trips (real world training opportunities, Sniffaris, hikes/walks, etc. - puppies who have not yet completed their vaccinations will be taken out for training sessions in a puppy stroller)

• Transportation in a secured Ruff Land crate appropriately sized to your puppy

• One 60 minute transfer lesson at drop off at the end of week one

• One 90 minute transfer lesson at drop off at the end of week two

• One 60 minute in-home lesson within 2 weeks after puppy returns home

• Training & Enrichment Pack (treat pouch, clicker, treat dispensing toy)

• Email, virtual and text support for 3 months after program is completed

We offer pick up and drop off service for our Happy Campers Board and Train Program clients who reside in the greater Phoenix/Maricopa County area. We can provide transportation for clients outside of our service area for an additional fee of $2/per mile for zip codes 15 miles outside of 85258.
